About the Course . Overview
The 24 Hour Mortgage Broker Pre-License Course is required by the State of Florida for everyone wishing to become a licensed mortgage broker in Florida. The pre-licensing course must be taken prior to taking the State Exam.

What do I need to do … to get a Florida Mortgage Broker's License?
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Complete the state required 24 hour Pre-License Course
  • Submit Form DBF-MB-101, fingerprint card, and fee
  • Pass the State License Exam
What is the cost of the class?
$349.00 includes all books, questions, and materials

Can I submit the state application before I take your class?
Yes, and you should! The state application needs to be in their hands on or before the 15th day of the month preceding the month for which you want to be scheduled to take the exam. (i.e., If you want to take the April exam you need to submit application, fingerprint card and fee - on, or before March 15th.)

Once I am licensed, what must I do to be paid?
As an Associate Broker you must hang your license with a licensed Mortgage Broker business office (just like a real estate sales associate who works for a real estate broker).
